4. Attend Have-a-go umpire training which will be held on Wednesday nights from March 11 from 6.30pm till 8.00pm. As there is a long list for this program it is important you attend when we tell you or you may lose your spot. We will register you in this program and we will let you know when you are due to attend. When the trainers feel you are capable of going onto a game they will let us know and we will place you on a game with a runner to watch you.
5. Once the trainers feel you are ready to umpire games by yourself they will release you with a clearance to umpire. Once you this happens we will start allocating you games.
For Junior games you will receive $15 and for Senior games $25
6. Whilst umpiring, a runner will be placed with you until you are ready to be badged. Once badged you will be free to umpire on your own. After this we will continue supporting you through all your umpiring should you wish to progress through the different levels.
